We promise to listen to you and style your dog to your liking!
As part of every full groom we will check and empty anal glands if neccessary, clip nails, clean ears and perform a general health check as standard.
Our full wash and cut service consists of the following:
A pampering session in our large hydrolic bath using one of our high quality WildWash natural shampoos.
If your dog is large or suffers from arthritis, our bath can be electronically lowered to a height of 18'' off the ground at the touch of a button.
We also have a stunning conditioner again from WildWash that leaves your dogs skin and coat super soft and enriched with essential vitamins and minerals.
All our WildWash shampoos, conditioners and sweet smelling sprays are available to purchase on your visit.
After your dog has been washed and dried we will style them to your liking. We can take their coat nice and short, keep it nice and long, cut to the breed standard or try something a bit different, it's up to you!
We will give your dog several rest periods during the course of their time with us as it can get quite tiring posing for us!
Most breeds are usually finished within 2 to 2.5 hours. Please allow more time if you have large long haired breeds such as Bernese Mountain Dogs and Newfoundlands or if your dog has a significant number of matts.
''Sunnyside Kennels received a dog named Alfie who was so badly matted it would have taken most of the day for the staff here to groom. With staff caring for so many dogs, the hours needed to de-matt a dog in his condition would have detracted from the care available to the rest of our dogs. So, a decision was made to send Alfie to Ellie and Oscar's.
It is highly advisable to rebook for your next appointment when collecting your dog (provided you are pleased with our service!) due to an ever increasing bookings diary.
Missed Appointment Policy
Please note that there is a missed appointment fee of £15 that will be added to your account if we are not given a minimum of 48 hours notice.
Please also try and contact us in the event of you running late for your appointment as we allocate specific time slots to each dog and cat through out the day. No notification of approximate arrival time may result in you missing your slot and incurring a missed appointment fee of £15.
